FLI Software Installation Kit (except for Kepler)

Installation: 1. Obtain a formatted USB Key media. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on a system running Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, or Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 and change to that directory. Windows driver backup to keep the system drivers at safe place and have them when you upgrade or reinstall the operating system. Device Driver Backup software to create backup of system drivers and restore them when you reinstall the operating system or upgrade the system.
The FLI Software Installation Kit installs FLI's applications, USB device drivers, and ASCOM driver for the focuser products. The Kepler ASCOM drivers below include support for CCD cameras and filter wheels. You will need to remove any previous FLI software before installing this package.

Finger Lakes Instrumentation's device interface software is open source, making it easier for our customers to directly interface FLI's devices. The SDK is supported on the following operating syste5ms: Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.x/10, Linux and Apple OSX. FLI's SDK is open source, please note the license agreement located in a comment block at the top of each file.

We highly recommend Windows 10 64-bit for Kepler. We do not recommend Windows 7, especially the 32-bit version.
If you are using a CFW filter wheel with a Kepler camera, please also install the Software Kit above.
If you are using the QSFP fiber interface, please also install the PCIe driver below.

INDI Support
INDI is a cross-platform system designed for automation and control of astronomical instruments. INDI drivers are available for FLI CCD cameras & filter wheels. FLI's SDK (available in the right pane) works natively with LabVIEW. If you need further support, including training and integration, contact Sixclear sixclear.com. Sixclear provides ready-to-use support for all of FLI's products.

AutoEnginuity's ProLine VCI and ScanTool 11.1, for Windows PCs, supports new electrical improvements such as the improved protection for ISO pins to prevent errant vehicle power from overheating the connector. Electronics required for the new Fiat, Ferrari and Maserati enhancements also come with it. Finally, more electrical switches were added to allow for more K line isolation from other protocols making switching protocols more reliable on mixed bus vehicles. The ProLine VCI update includes an integrated security dongle freeing up a USB port for other devices and making the connection easier to perform with one less device to connect.
